Has anyone used ZocDoc before? Its a great resource for finding out some doctors in your location and you can search by insurance to find ones that work for you

Does anyone have any good recommendations for ophthalmologists in the New York City area? I just moved here so I am wondering if anyone has any they would like to share or has had a good experience with a certain place

General Discussion / Eye strain can cause pain when looking side to side
« on: January 27, 2020, 10:32:19 PM »
I'm embarrassed to ask this...but for many years now whenever I am getting sick, like a fever or the flu, I notice that if I look all the way to the side of my vision it hurts my head.  This only happens when I'm sick or getting sick, and I have no idea why.  It's at the point where I sometimes use that motion as a "test" to see if I'm about to get sick.  I found some article on it but I'm not sure.

Maybe it's this occular affectation, though I don't know: https://www.barraquer.com/en/news/afectacion-ocular-la-gripe-resfriado

Could just be eye strain haha.  Does anyone else get that?  It feels crazy to say.

Thanks for the articles!  It will be an amazing day when very few glaucoma patients require surgery.
